■午前と午後
意味：「今何時ですか。」
これは本当によく出題されます。
完全な文で暗記して下さい。
また、疑問文ですが下げ調子で読むことにも注意して下さい。
この文とセットに答え方も覚えて下さい。
これは「○時ちょうど」の時に使う表現です。
最後の o'clock は省略できます。
例文：
[疑問文]
What time is it now?
（今何時ですか。）
[答え]
It is eight ( o'clock ).
（８時です。）
これは「○時×分」の時に使う表現です。
「〜時ちょうど」で使う表現と違い、最後に o'clock はいりません。
例文：
[疑問文]
What time is it now?
（今何時ですか。）
[答え]
It is two thirty.
（２時３０分です。）
ここで注意することは、時間が何十何分になったときです。
数詞の項目でも説明していますが、「何十−何分」というように、ハイフンを忘れないで下さい。
例文：

What time is it now?
（今何時ですか。）
[答え]
It is one forty-five.
（１時４５分です。）
これは「１２時ちょうど」の時に使う表現です。
例文：

It is noon.
（昼の１２時です。）
「午前」は＝in the morning 、午後は＝in the afternoon と表します。。
「午前」を a.m. 「午後」を p.m. としても表すことができます。
例文：

What time is it now?
（今何時ですか。）

It is seven in the morning.
= It is seven a.m.
（午前７時です。）
[疑問文]
What time is it now?
（今何時ですか。）
[答え]
It is seven in the afternoon.
= It is seven p.m.
