■関係詞を使った強調構文
「いつ」「どこで」「誰が」「何を」を強調する「It is A that B」の that は、関係代名詞や関係副詞に書き換えることができます。
それぞれ、
・「いつ」…関係副詞 when
・「どこで」…関係副詞 where
・「誰が」…関係代名詞 who
・「何を」…関係代名詞 which
に置き換えることが可能です。
「いつ」は that → when に
It was last week that Mike bought a bike at the store.
= It was last week when Mike bought a bike at the store.
（マイクがお店で自転車を買ったのは先週だった。）
「どこで」は that → where に
It was at the store that Mike bought a bike last week.
= It was at the store where Mike bought a bike last week.
（マイクが先週自転車を買ったのはお店だった。）
「誰が」は that → who に
It was Mike that bought a bike at the store last week.
= It was Mike who bought a bike at the store last week.
（先週お店で自転車を買ったのはマイクだった。）
「何を」は that → which に
It was a bike that Mike bought at the store last week.
= It was a bike which Mike bought at the store last week.
